Volunteer Opportunities

It only takes a few hours a week to make an impact on someone's life. We would not be able to do what we do without the outstanding service and commitment of our volunteers! Our biggest need is for volunteer drivers to deliver meals to our wonderful participants. 

Volunteer Application
  • Volunteer Meal Delivery Driver

    With 65+ routes throughout Hillsborough County, our drivers deliver meals Monday through Friday between the hours of 10AM-1:30PM. In addition to nutritious meals, our drivers also provide friendly visits, wellness checks, and social connection. 


    • Pleasant and friendly demeanor
    • 21 years old
    • Currently registered and safety-inspected vehicle
    • Valid driver’s license 
    • Automobile insurance with a minimum of $100k/$300k bodily injury liability 
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and climb stairs
    • Ability to pass a motor vehicle check and background checks
    • Ability to assess and report on a client's well-being
    • Attendance at a volunteer orientation and annual trainings
  • Volunteer Substitute Meal Delivery Driver

    With 65+ routes throughout Hillsborough County, our drivers deliver meals Monday through Friday between the hours of 10AM-1:30PM. In addition to nutritious meals, our drivers also provide friendly visits, wellness checks, and social connection


    Our volunteers assist typically one or two days per week. Routes take between 1.5 and
    2 hours. There is no set schedule, but looking for volunteers that are willing to pick up shifts when possible.

  • Meal Stagers

    Meal stagers are needed from 11:30 to 1:30, one or two weekdays per week at our new location: 353 South Main Street, Manchester.


    Currently we have specific openings on Tuesday and Thursday. Meal stagers load frozen meals into coolers, by route, for next day delivery.

  • Assembly Line Volunteers

    Early riser?


    We have openings early on the assembly line, preparing the supplemental items to go out with the meals.  7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.
